This is a Mother's Day gift for my mom of course :giggle: I also wrote a poem to go along with it.

Paint my World

You gave me life,
You showed me the way,
You paint my world,
You made me who I am today,
You made me strong,
You are my mom.
----
She cried when I showed her these and then I made her breakfast.

Anyways I attempted a blue roan, but derwent studio pencils are stupid, and made it really difficult, so I failed. But I could always try a different media next time. Please tell me what you guys think.

Picture and Poem belong to me, so please don't steal or suffer my wrath!!!

LOLOL that's so weird - I drew my mom a unicorn for Mother's Day too. :XD:

This looks great! I like all the colors you incorperated. :) Yeah, blue roans are hard to do when you have such hard pencils. I think it would have been hard to darken the body with them.

Aw, that's so sweet! I'm glad she liked it, and congrats on making such a sweet gift. I love the effect of colors swirling from his horn, and his contrast from the marker background.

I really like the idea around this one~ It's a very beautiful piece; it's easy to see that you put a lot of thought and effort into it too! <3 the pose is nicely done as well~
